Valmet Aiken Roll Shop is part of Valmet’s Global Service Operation. We provide a full range of services for the North American paper industry, ranging from roll resurfacing and reconditioning to roll grinding and balancing.
Rollresearch International Ltd. has modernized our Waldrich Siegen III CPT 100.2 x 13.000 grinding machine in 2014. The project included new CNC and PLC controls, new electrical components plus an automatic Rollresearch 4-point measurement system. With the modernized machine we are able to perform 3D Grinding as standard with high operational efficiency and reliability, allowing us to provide quality and timely service for our customers.
The co-operation with Rollresearch has been seamless throughout the modernization project from pre-engineering and commissioning to personnel training and takeover. We value Rollresearch’s expertise in grinding and their customer focus. The technical support and response time, regardless of technical issue or a simple question, has been excellent. It gives us peace of mind to know that Rollresearch backs up our grinding operation with their specialists at all times.
